Leather and felt dog collars and leads - Tan and Marine
Introducing our ever-growing collection of artisan leather dog collars and leads, crafted with unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail. This classic pairing of tan and marine blue has been designed for discerning pet owners who appreciate quality and style, our collars and leads are a perfect blend of elegance and functionality.
At the heart of our products lies the finest Italian vegetable-tanned leather, renowned for its exceptional durability and supple texture. Sourced from the esteemed Badalassi Carlo tannery, this premium leather undergoes a meticulous tanning process using natural extracts from bark, leaves, and fruits, resulting in a rich, organic finish that only improves with age.
For added comfort and luxury, we incorporate 100% wool felt into our collars and leads. This soft and breathable material not only provides a cozy fit for your beloved canine but also adds a touch of warmth and sophistication to their attire.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the materials we use. Each collar and lead is meticulously handcrafted by us here in our Cotswold studio, ensuring every stitch and detail is flawlessly executed. The result is a product that stands the test of time and becomes a cherished accessory for both you and your furry companion.
To complement the exceptional craftsmanship, we have selected solid brass hardware for our collars and leads. These fittings not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also guarantee durability and reliability, ensuring that your pet is safe and secure during every walk.
Our collars come in 4 sizes to suit most breeds - sizing guidelines are below. If there is a size that you would require that does not fit within our range, please do not hesitate to get in touch for a custom collar.
We have a choice of 3 leads to suit your preference:
The classic leather lead is 120cm long (trigger to handle) and made with a length of double leather, stitched with a contrasting thread. The handle is lined with 100% wool felt as with the collars.
We have included a floating 'O' ring on the handle should you wish to attach a poo bag holder or attach it over your body when your dog is off the lead.
We also have a paracord rope lead matched with a felt-lined leather handle. The rope we use is made from polypropylene which floats if in water and is non-absorbant meaning it will dry quickly. The rope has an OEKO-TEX® label meaning it is non-toxic and safe to use for animals (and humans!). In our opinion, it is the best material to use if greater flexibility is needed. This lead also has a floating 'O' ring on the handle. We have used thinner paracords as whipping around the ends to add a whimsical splash of colour.
Completing the trio, we have a coordinating slip lead made using a 10mm paracord rope. We have included a safety ring stopper so the neck size can be adjusted and safely placed over your dog's head to prevent injury. This also can be used to create a figure of eight lead to use over the snout. The slip lead is 110cm -130cm depending on the size of the neck circumference required.
Whether you prefer a classic design or a contemporary twist, our collection offers a range of styles and sizes to suit every dog's personality and breed. From elegant neutrals to vibrant pops of color, each collar and lead is thoughtfully designed to make a statement while reflecting your pet's individuality.
We also have a matching keyring to complete the look!
Indulge your four-legged friend with the luxury they deserve. Choose our artisan leather dog collars and leads, crafted with passion and devotion, to provide the ultimate combination of style, comfort, and durability. Elevate your daily walks and create unforgettable memories with your faithful companion.
With care, our collars and leads should last a lifetime.
Measuring your dog is crucial to ensure you get a correct fit. If you have a collar already, the easiest way is to simply measure that. If not, please refer to the following guidelines:
1. MEASURE: use a soft cloth measuring tape and measure your dog's neck circumference.
2. ADD: add 2 inches to the measurement for the best collar size.
3. SAFETY: Adding this extra length will make sure that the collar is neither too tight or too loose. You should be able to get two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog.
