Some collections are planned from the start. Others find their place more gradually.

The Summer Fair Collection belongs firmly in the second camp.

Long before it appeared on the website, this collection had already travelled the country with us. Packed into the van alongside our core range, it made regular appearances at country shows, summer fairs and events, quietly building a following of its own.

What began as a small collection of brighter pieces soon became something customers would actively seek out. Some were drawn to the bold colour combinations, while others simply enjoyed seeing a different side of our signature leather and rope.

Over time, one thing became clear: this collection deserved a permanent place.

A Touch of Colour for Brighter Days

Inspired by the colours and details of a British summer fair, the collection pairs deep navy Italian leather and French navy rope with brighter accents of colour.

Available in Fuchsia, Tangerine, Turquoise and Emerald, each piece offers a different take on the same idea — colour used with purpose, balanced by the timeless appeal of navy.

For some, that means a flash of colour in the suede lining of a collar. For others, it's a fully coordinated rope lead that brings the colour to the forefront.

Either way, the result feels fresh without losing the character of the materials.

 

The Details That Tie It Together

As with everything we make, the details matter.

The collars and leather leads are crafted from Italian vegetable-tanned leather, lined with soft suede and finished with colour-matched stitching. Across the rope designs, our signature stripe whipping runs through the collection, adding a distinctive detail that has become instantly recognisable to many of our customers.

For Summer Fair, we chose nickel-plated hardware throughout, giving the collection a lighter, cleaner finish that complements the brighter palette.

They're small details, but they're often the ones that make a piece feel special.

From Event Favourite to Permanent Collection

One of the joys of attending events is seeing products in the real world.

Over the past couple of years, we've watched customers pick up different colour combinations, compare favourites and build complete sets. Some gravitated towards the understated French navy rope options, while others embraced the brighter coordinating versions.
