Why We Finally Made a Sighthound Collar
Tracy FaulknerShare

For a long time, we were asked the same question:
Do you make collars for sighthounds?
Greyhounds. Whippets. Lurchers.
Long necks, slim heads, and proportions that standard collars don’t always suit.
So we finally made one.
Explore our handmade sighthound collars here.

Designed for Long, Elegant Necks
Sighthounds are built differently. Their necks are often wider than their heads, which means collars need to sit securely without feeling narrow or unbalanced.
Our sighthound collar has a wider profile to:
– Distribute pressure more evenly
– Sit comfortably along the neck
– Look properly proportioned
– Feel secure without excess bulk
It’s a subtle shift in design - but on the right dog, the difference is immediate.

Crafted the Same Way — Just Wider
Like everything we make, these collars are:
– Handmade in the Cotswolds
– Created in small batches
– Finished with solid brass hardware
– Designed to age beautifully with wear
The materials haven’t changed.
The quality hasn’t changed.
Only the proportions have.

Made for Everyday Walks
This isn’t a special-occasion collar.
It’s made for woodland paths, open fields, village pavements and long countryside strides.
Strong enough for daily use.
Beautiful enough to feel considered.

A Long Time Coming
This design has been sitting on our to-do list for years.
We’ve been asked for it by customers, boutique owners, and sighthound people who understand that fit matters.
